  I just need those baked goods in my life. The booster raffles are always HUGE and the money goes to the students so I do not mind spending a little extra. Last year was so crowded though.

  We went and it was SO beautiful! My kids loved decorating their lanterns. It is very crowded though so hold onto their hands tight.

  YES. We went to the last one and my boys ran until they literally collapsed. The lawn games are great for burning off that pre dinner energy.

• Spring ISD ratings jumped from D to C

  Going from an F to a B at Booker is HUGE. I know people like to knock Spring ISD compared to Klein or Conroe, but turning around failing campuses takes real work from teachers and parents. Good for those kids.

• Weekly vent thread: tiny ruin vs tiny win

  Ruined: My oldest left his wet soccer jersey at the VERY bottom of his duffel bag since Saturday. Opening that bag was a biohazard experience. Saved: All four boys slept PAST seven on Sunday morning. I almost called an ambulance to check on them but instead I drank warm coffee in peace.
