Spring ISD ratings jumped from D to C

Spring ISD officially announced the TEA 2026 accountability ratings on August 14. The district overall score rose 11 points, moving from a 65 up to a 76, which brings them from a D to a C. The most notable metric is that F-rated campuses dropped by 82 percent, going from 11 down to just 2. Booker Elementary went from an F rating straight to a B. Where are you seeing the individual campus breakdown for high schools? I see people talking on Facebook about Westfield and Spring High, but nobody ever posts the actual documentation. I want to verify if high school scores went up or if the elementary campuses pulled up the district average.

The 82 percent drop in failing campuses reflects progress across multiple levels, but Booker moving from an F to a B is what drove a lot of the elementary gains.

Booker jumping from an F to a B is meaningful for families in that zone. I have had foster placements over the years who attended Spring ISD schools, and constant campus administrative shifts make handling ARD meetings and caseworker check-ins much harder. If a campus stabilizes its academic scores, it usually means leadership is staying put long enough to establish routine.

Going from an F to a B at Booker is HUGE. I know people like to knock Spring ISD compared to Klein or Conroe, but turning around failing campuses takes real work from teachers and parents. Good for those kids.
