We have a tournament that weekend so we are out. Between the registration fees and the gas to get to the fields every weekend I am basically broke anyway lol. Have fun everyone.

- Anyone going to the Camp Gladiator thing at City Place in Nov?
I just saw that Camp Gladiator is doing a Basecamp event at City Place Plaza on Saturday Nov 14 2026. It says 8:30 to 10:30 AM with a group workout, music, and healthy food vendors. I am thinking about going since it says it is for all fitness levels but I am a little nervous about how intense it will be.

- Making Spirits Bright boutique stroll on Nov 7th?
I want to go but we have a tournament in The Woodlands until 1:00. If it ends at 4:00 that only gives me three hours. Is that enough time to hit all the boutiques and get the stamps for the raffle? Tournament fees are already killing my shopping fund.

- Recreational sports for beginners that are low pressure?
i9 uses a few different spots depending on the season, sometimes school fields off Spring Cypress or local park spaces. Just fair warning if you end up at Meyer Park on a Saturday morning for any league, Cypresswood Drive gets absolutely backed up near the entrances. Leave ten minutes earlier than you think you need to because parking near the soccer fields fills up fast!

Save yourself the club soccer madness for as long as you can! Both my boys are in club now so my life revolves around fields off Riley Fuzzel, but when they started out, Klein Soccer Club rec league at Meyer Park was perfect. It is right off Cypresswood. One practice a week during the evening, games on Saturday mornings, and super friendly for kids who have never played before.
