On our block in Northampton we just rely on neighbor math. We have a street group text and whenever someone sees a delivery truck drop something off, they text the group. Whoever is working from home or walking their dog goes and grabs the box off the porch and puts it in their own garage until evening. Old school but it works.

- Tuesday night dining out with kids where grown ups can actually enjoy the food?
Seconding Willie’s on 2920! We ran into three families from our street there last Tuesday around 6:00. The kids just run back and forth to the sandbox while parents sit on the covered porch. Easy night out and very close if you live off Holzwarth or Spring Cypress.

- Best cut throughs to avoid kuykendahl and louetta around 7:30-8:15 am?
If anyone decides to cut through Northampton to bypass the main roads, please please slow down. We have two elementary bus stops right along Root Road and people have been blowing past the stopped buses at 7:25 am trying to get to Gosling. It is super dangerous with the morning fog right now. Stick to the main thoroughfares if you are in a rush.

- How do parents actually keep up with board meetings for Klein ISD and Spring ISD? is it worth going in person?
The bus stop group chat loves to start rumors about attendance boundaries every fall. Every single year someone says our neighborhood is getting rezoned. I always wait until KleinISDwatcher or someone posts the actual board agenda link on here before I get worked up. Reading the actual documents saves you so much unnecessary stress.

Seconding the warning about school carpool traffic! We are in Northampton and love it, but some streets get backed up around dismissal time. If you do buy, get connected with your bus stop parents right away. They know everything about the neighborhood, who does good yard work, and when the MUD board meetings are.
