  Congratulations on your upcoming arrival! For us coming out of the NICU, the biggest factor was finding a doctor who listened carefully without making us feel silly for asking basic questions. We wanted someone affiliated with Texas Children's or Memorial Hermann so records transferred easily. We actually switched once because our first clinic felt like an assembly line. When you find the right doctor, they sit down, look you in the eye, and answer every single question on your list. Trust your instincts if you ever feel rushed.
